I previously wrote a post about how great morning routines are and how much implementing it into my life was so great! Unfortunately, I’ve fallen off of it, after maintaining it for a month. Now, it’s time to get back on track and back towards a productive life!
First, I have to recognize the problem. I was feeling great! Why did I stop? Well… I’m normally a lazy person, and I only recently decided to be more productive. I don’t have those good habits engrained in my DNA yet, and it doesn’t come naturally to me. Well.. I’m not so sure morning routines will ever become natural for me!
I think it’s good to realize that. It’s always going to be something I need to work on. Even if it does become natural, I can always improve my morning routine.
Next, I have to take precautions to prevent this from happening again. I think writing down a physical list of my morning activities is enough to keep me accountable. I’m already developing a habit of bullet journaling, so I can just add my list to my journal. A better idea would probably to just write down “Morning Routine” in my daily to do list, and I can just reference the actual Morning Routine Checklist on another page or wherever i decide to put it.
After that, it’s time to do some research.
Many youtubers, bloggers, and instagrammers have referenced something called “Miracle Morning,” and I first went to look for that. I realized that it’s a physical book that costs money. Money that I don’t have as a student that doesn’t work.
Instead, I just did a basic google search of general things, and here are some links I used:
I wrote down everything that I thought was a good idea, and then I listed it all in the order I was to accomplish them every morning.
Let’s see how this turns out. We’ll just have to test it tomorrow morning 🙂
